Beck’s originated in the late 1950s selling and servicing televisions and through the years has grown to offer many of the top quality name-brand appliances, furniture and mattress sets.

About the Team
- Jennifer Seely I started my journey at Beck's back in 1985 while I was still in high school. I have had many roles over the years, which currently includes advertising and managing our furniture and mattress department. One of my favorite parts about this job has been to grow friendships and get to know people in our community, as I have been able to help and serve our customers here on the sales floor. My husband and I have raised 3 wonderful children and I'm currently enjoying one of my newest roles as "Grandma".
- Mark Beck My parents started Beck’s TV in 1959. I took over in 1974 selling and repairing Zenith televisions. I married my wife, Laura, in 1976 and we raised our five children in Mt. Pleasant. All four of our boys worked at the business throughout their teenage years, giving them great experience for life ahead. Shortly after we were married, we added appliances, mattresses, then furniture and changed our name from Beck’s TV to Beck’s Home Furnishings. Over the past 45+ years it has been a pleasure to serve the great customers who have shopped Beck’s, thus our website name shopbecks.com. It has been my goal to have this business always be competitive with the large stores in the metro area and offer much better personalized customer service than they can offer.
- Janiel Sego I have enjoyed working at Becks Home Furnishings for over 30 years. Originally, I approached it as an opportunity to get out of the house a couple days a week as a young mother. I never imagined it would turn into a career. I have been managing the Appliance Department, Office, Finances and the relationship with BrandSource, our buy group for most of my time here and enjoy most of the challenges the job presents. I have been married to my high school sweetheart since 1987. We have 3 amazing children (6 with their spouses) and 3 sweet granddaughters and I love spending my free time with my family. I find great satisfaction in helping our customers find not only what they need, but something they love for their home.
- Cody Beck I started working in store at a young age working with my father. For many years now, I've been working here selling appliances and furniture, managing the warehouse and deliveries and working to see that our customer service is top notch. I have been married to my wife, Laci, and we have a very handsome young son now. I enjoy being a part of this family business and enjoy my relationship with the many fine customers that support our local hometown business.
